In “Glory!” we continue through 2 Corinthians 3:7-18 and look at Paul’s contrast between the glory of the Old Covenant and the greater glory of the New Covenant. Paul draws from the story of Moses, whose face shone after being in God’s presence, and explains how a veil can still prevent people from seeing how the Old Covenant points to Christ.
Through Christ, that veil is lifted. The New Covenant is lasting, God’s glory is revealed through the gospel, and those who turn to the Lord are themselves being transformed “from one degree of glory to another.”
