Consequences of Unbelief
In 1 Corinthians 15:12–19, Paul addresses a dangerous belief that had begun to circulate among some Christians in Corinth: the denial of the resurrection of the dead. Paul explains that rejecting the resurrection does not merely affect one doctrine—it undermines the entire gospel message.
If the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. If Christ has not been raised, preaching is empty, faith is futile, and hope is lost. This message explores why the resurrection of Jesus is essential to the Christian faith and what is at stake if it is denied.
